It's hard to believe that it has been over a year since I arrived in Rheims to be the English assistant at Lycée Arago (2011-12)! Now home in the States, I still check this blog to see what's new in the world of engineering and renewable energy...
How cool is this invention?! I begin to think of all the things I use daily that could be replaced by practical "cardboard" doubles!
Of course, one question comes to mind:
Do you think we could also market this product in highly-developed countries, where people are used to the luxury of traditional bikes? Would the average person be willing to forgo style and comfort to make a responsible choice? Would I give up my classic pink Schwinn? Hmmm...
